Does Looka give you the SVG?
Yes, from the Premium tier upward. The Basic Logo Package is $20 and includes one PNG at 1000 by 1000 pixels on a coloured background, which their own tooltip describes as a proof of concept to show a designer. The SVG arrives at the $65 Premium Logo Package, alongside EPS, PDF and four colour variations including transparent backgrounds. The $96 per year Brand Kit Subscription also includes vector files. So the vector file is genuinely there. It is simply not in the cheapest tier.

What is the same
Both products let you generate and preview logos before paying anything. Looka’s pricing page says it is free to make logos and that you pay when you are happy, so free previewing is not a difference between the two. The difference is what it costs to turn a preview into files, and which files you get. Previews carry a watermark so they stay free. Downloads are clean vector files.
Where Looka is the better choice
